Annual Report to Shareholders

American Business Awards - Stevie Award
Entergy's 2008 online annual report won first place in the Utility website category in The American Business Awards competition (The Stevies). More than 2,700 entries were submitted in all categories and more than 200 executives nationwide participated in the judging.

International Academy of the Visual Arts - Award of Distinction
Entergy's 2008 Online Annual Report won an Award of Distinction (Silver) in the "Websites - Visual Appeal" category in The Communicator Awards given by the International Academy of the Visual Arts. The competition had over 7,000 entries in all categories.

Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals - Hermes Creative Platinum Award
Entergy's 2008 Online Annual Report earned a Platinum Award in the E-Annual Report category in the Hermes Creative Awards. Only 18 percent of the 3,600 entries won the Platinum Award, the competition's top honor. There were over 3,600 entries in the 2010 competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. The Hermes Creative Awards recognizes outstanding work for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media.

MerComm International Annual Report Competition (ARC) Awards – Gold Award (1st Place)
Entergy’s 2008 Annual Report earned a Gold Award for Best Overall Annual Report in the Electricity Generator & Retailer category. The International ARC Awards Competition is the largest international competition honoring outstanding achievement in annual reports.

League of American Communications Professionals - Platinum Award
Entergy's 2008 annual report to shareholders earned a Platinum Award in the League of American Communications Professionals Annual Report Competition - the 2008 Vision Awards. Entergy ranked #1 in the Electric Utilities category and was included in the Top 100 Winners Gallery. The LACP, an organization dedicated to supporting and recognizing excellence in the practice of professional communications, hosts a yearly annual report award competition. The 2008 Vision Awards competition had more than 3,500 entries.

Entergy's 2007 Online Annual Report won a Bronze award in the Internet/Online Programs, Segments or Promotional Pieces-Public Relations category, and a Bronze Award in the Internet/Online Video-Other category.

Videographer Awards - Award of Excellence
Entergy's 2007 Online Annual Report won an Award of Excellence in the Video for the Web/Flash category. Approximately 14% of the 1,800 entries won an Award of Excellence.

American Society of Professional Communicators Annual Report Awards – Colonial Awards for Excellence
Entergy's 2007 Annual Report won Colonial Awards of Excellence in the following categories: Best Annual Report, Photography/Graphic Design and Online Annual Report.

Advertising Club of New Orleans - Gold Addy
Entergy's 2007 Online Annual Report won an Advertising Club of New Orleans Gold Addy award in the Micro Sites category.

Acadiana Advertising Federation District Addy Awards – Silver Addy
Entergy's 2007 Online Annual Report won a Silver Addy.

Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals - Hermes Creative Platinum Award and Gold Awards
Entergy's 2007 Online Annual Report won a Platinum Award in the “Web-based Multi-Media” category in the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals' Hermes Creative Awards competition. The online report also won Gold Awards in the "E-Annual Report" and "Web Animation" categories.

International Academy of the Visual Arts - Award of Excellence and Award of Distinction Entergy's 2007 Online Annual Report won an Award of Excellence (Gold) in the Video or Motion Graphics category and an Award of Distinction (Silver) in the Animation category in The Communicator Awards given by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals - Hermes Creative Platinum Award
The Hermes Creative Awards (HCA) has selected Entergy’s 2008 Sustainability Report (“Meeting the Challenge”) as a winner of their prestigious Platinum Award. Only 18 percent of the 3,600 entries won the Platinum Award, the organization’s top honor. HCA recognizes outstanding work for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. There were over 3,600 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries in the 2010 competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.

The ECO Awards for Excellence in Environmental Communications - Award of Excellence
Entergy's 2007 sustainability report ("Unlocking Value") won an Award of Excellence, the top honor. The ECO Awards recognize outstanding achievement by environmental communications professionals. Only 10 winners received the Award of Excellence.

Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals - Hermes Creative Gold Award
Entergy's 2007 Sustainability Report won a Gold Award in the Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials, programs and emerging technologies. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, web based innovators and freelancers. The awards recognize outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals. The Gold Award is presented to entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness.

APEX Awards for Publication Excellence - Grand Award
Entergy's 2007 Sustainability Report ("Unlocking Value") won the Grand Award in the Brochures, Manuals & Reports category. Of 3,785 total entries, only 100 Grand Awards were presented in 11 major categories to honor outstanding work.

Entergy’s 2006 annual report received a Energy Standard of Excellence award from the Web Marketing Association. Entries that scored between 50 and 59.9 out of a possible 70 points received the Standard of Excellence.

American Business Communicators Annual Report Awards Competition
Entergy’s 2007 annual report received first-place honor in Photography or Illustration and second-place honor in Cover Design. The 2007 report also received the Founders Award and Outstanding Creativity recognition for the Letter to Shareholders.

Dallas International Association of Business Communicators 2008 Bronze Quill Award
Entergy’s 2007 annual report to shareholders received an Award of Excellence (highest honor) in this competition recognizing business communication excellence.

Within the top 100 entries, the Entergy annual report was also honored as one of the top 10 illustrated reports..

The 2005 Online Annual Report won a W³ Gold Award. The W³ competition is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, and sponsors and partners include Adweek Magazine and The Creative Group, the leading creative professional staffing company in the world. Less than 10% of the 2,700 entries were selected as Gold Winners.

Web Marketing Association - Standard of Excellence
Entergy's 2005 Online Annual Report earned an "Investor Relations Standard of Excellence" award in the the Web Marketing Association's annual WebAward competition. Entergy's site was among 6 others that won the award for "Outstanding Achievement in Web site development."

PRINT’s Regional Design Annual
Entergy’s 2005 annual report was selected to appear in PRINT'S Regional Design Annual 2007 publication. The prestigious design award covers a many areas of design, including annual reports, and there were more than 20,000 individual entries this year.

American Business Awards - Stevie Award
Entergy's 2005 online annual report won first place in the overall web site design category in The American Business Awards competition (The Stevies). Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” (New York Post , April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business. 

Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals - Platinum Award
Entergy's 2005 online annual report won a Platinum Hermes Creative Award (top award) in the “E-Annual Report” category awarded by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals. It was the only Platinum Award awarded in this category. The Platinum Award is presented to those entries "judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition." Fifteen percent of the 3,500 entries in all categories won Platinum Awards.
