Second Tier Program

Entergy has a strong and extended history of commitment to the communities it serves. To ensure this commitment, Entergy aggressively works with its prime suppliers to implement a strong Second-Tier Supplier Diversity Program. This initiative was developed and designed to assist prime suppliers and track mandatory reporting. As a primes supplier, your company’s cooperation in this project is essential.

This user-friendly system will be able to track prime suppliers subcontracting dollars spent with diverse, women-owned suppliers, veteran owned, disabled veterans, and HUB Zone suppliers.

Purpose

Entergy’s Second-Tier Initiative exists to maximize opportunities for minority/women-owned suppliers through prime suppliers to participate as suppliers of products and services to various Entergy business units. Second-Tier should serve as an enhancement to, and not as a replacement for, existing efforts aimed at increasing meaningful opportunities for M/WBEs to participate as first-tier suppliers.

How to Begin the Process

• Contact Entergy’s Supplier Diversity Department.
• A Supplier Diversity representative will e-mail your company contact information to CVM Solutions.
• CVM Solutions is a third-party verification supplier acting on behalf of Entergy as administrator of the Second-Tier reporting program. CVM’s website is secure and your data and documentation will be held in confidence for Entergy internal use only. The Second-Tier reporting database is a Web-based system designed to make the process of reporting second-tier numbers very easy.
• CVM Solutions will then e-mail you a password, ID and Second Tier reporting guidelines.

If you currently have an account and wish to submit your Second Tier Report to Entergy, please log in and enter the necessary reporting requirements.

Second Tier Reports

Second-Tier Spend Reports should be submitted to Entergy on a quarterly basis through the CVM Portal. The reports are due by the tenth day ending each quarter except the last quarter.
