About Transmission

The Entergy Transmission system serves 2.5 million customers, spanning 4 states, 112,000 square miles and 6 regulatory jurisdictions (including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission).

The Transmission Business group is fully responsible for the planning, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance of 15,500 miles of 69kV - 500kV transmission lines. As a member of the Southeastern Electric Reliability Council, Entergy is committed to serving its transmission customers reliably across its interconnected grid of wires and substations.
