Entergy Mississippi completes power restoration after back-to-back weather events

The consecutive weather events caused some customers to experience repeated outages, and since Wednesday, April 2, crews have restored a total of 75,000 power outages. Throughout the effort, nearly 800 team members, including lineworkers, tree trimmers, damage assessors and support personnel, worked to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 4/8/25, noon

Significant progress is being made by our Entergy Arkansas crews in restoring power to our customers who remain affected by the multiple rounds of severe weather this past weekend. The series of storms resulted in peak outages of 71,300 customers. As of 11 a.m. today, 11,200 outages remain, and we continue to work diligently and safely to restore your power.

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 4/8/25, 8 p.m.

It has been another hard day for our line workers as they experienced more damage than expected with trees blocking access to our equipment and dealing with knee-deep water due to flooding in some areas.

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 4/7/25, noon

Great progress is being made by our Entergy Arkansas crews in restoring power to our customers affected by the multiple rounds of severe weather in recent days. As of noon today, 21,327 outages remain, mostly in the Little Rock area, after a peak of 71,300 Saturday. We expect 90% of customers to be restored by 10 p.m.

Safely restoring power to your home after severe weather

Entergy Arkansas is committed to helping customers recover following the devastating severe weather. The following information will help educate customers who are bringing in their own temporary housing units while they make repairs, or if they plan to vacate their home(s).

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 4/7/25, 6:30 p.m.

Great progress is being made by our Entergy Arkansas crews in restoring power to our customers affected by the multiple rounds of severe weather in recent days.

Entergy Mississippi storm update – 4/6/25, noon

Mississippi crews, contractors, tree trimmers and scouts are working diligently to restore power to more than 14,400 customers after thunderstorms, high winds and tornado activity moved through the service area Saturday evening into early Sunday morning. As of 12:00 p.m. Sunday, crews have restored power to 7,400 customers, and approximately 50% remain without power.

The Entergy Arkansas service area sustained five rounds of severe weather in recent days, resulting at its peak Saturday in 71,300 customer outages and currently at 40,000. We have activated teams of nearly 1,000 additional personnel to support restoration efforts and continue to shift resources and special equipment to assist with the hardest hit areas.

The Entergy Arkansas service area has sustained five rounds of severe weather in recent days, resulting at its peak Saturday in 71,300 customer outages. Currently, 83% of customer outages have been restored. We have activated teams of nearly 1,000 additional personnel to support restoration efforts and continue to shift resources and special equipment to assist with the hardest hit areas.

Entergy Mississippi storm update – 4/6/25, 6:45 p.m.

As of 6:45 p.m. this evening, significant progress has been made in restoring power to those customers impacted by the high winds, thunderstorms, lightning, and reported tornado activity that impacted the Entergy Mississippi service territory yesterday into early Sunday morning. Approximately 2,090 customers are without power, down from the peak of 14,483 that was reached at 4:30 a.m.
