Entergy Mississippi has restored power to the customers in Lawrence County near Monticello, due to the wildfire in the area. Approximately 179 customers were originally taken offline as a proactive safety measure to help protect the public from wildfire hazards.

Entergy Mississippi has de-energized distribution lines that serve approximately 179 customers in Lawrence County near Monticello due to the spreading wildfire in the area. The temporary power outage is expected to last until approximately 7 p.m., though the outage could be extended until conditions are safe.
