Entergy January winter storm update – 1/27/2026, 4 p.m.

All Entergy Arkansas and Texas customers who could safely receive power were restored yesterday. Restoration for affected Louisiana and Mississippi customers is well underway. As we narrow our restoration efforts to the hardest hit areas, crews continue to face difficult conditions including extreme cold temperatures and icy roads.

Entergy Arkansas remains focused on keeping customers informed as we continue to assess the impacts of the winter storm that brought snow, sleet and freezing rain across much of our service area.  While the storm has moved out of the state, extremely cold temperatures have persisted. Our power delivery teams are actively monitoring system conditions and carefully balancing load across the state to protect both customers and critical equipment.

Entergy Arkansas remains focused on keeping customers informed as we continue to assess the impacts of the winter storm that brought snow, sleet and freezing rain across much of our service area.

Where it is safe to do so, crews have begun restoring power to customers who lost service, but continued icy conditions may delay crews from safely getting to work. With temperatures dropping below freezing overnight, there is a threat of refreezing on untreated surfaces, which could hamper traveling until roads thaw. We continue to monitor the forecast and are prepared to respond as soon as we can safely do so.

Where possible, crews have begun restoring power to customers who lost service, but continued icy conditions may delay crews from safely getting to work. Our crews are staying safe and ready to respond as soon as the weather improves.
