Entergy System Hurricane Ida Update – 9/13/21 @ 10:15 a.m.
Entergy’s Louisiana storm team continues to make progress restoring power across southeast Louisiana following Hurricane Ida. Two weeks after the storm struck the state, our workforce has restored nearly 90% of the 948,000 total customers who lost power.

Entergy System Hurricane Ida Update – 9/6/21 @ 7 p.m.
Just eight days after being struck by one of the most destructive hurricanes to ever hit the United States, more than half of the 948,000 total customers who lost power have been restored. As of 4 p.m. today, 54%, or 511,000, had been restored.

Entergy Announces Preliminary Estimated Times of Restoration for Customers Impacted by Hurricane Ida
In the five days since Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana, Entergy crews have restored power to approximately 225,000 customers.

We are prepared for the potential impacts of Tropical Storm Ida, predicted to make landfall Aug. 29, potentially as a major hurricane along the mid-Louisiana coast.

Entergy System Tropical Storm Claudette Update – 6/19/21 @ 9 a.m.
The disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico became Tropical Storm Claudette early today as it moved ashore along the mid-Louisiana coast. The storm is causing power outages for our customers in the state.

Entergy System Storm Update – 3/18/21 @ 12:45 p.m.
The majority of outages across our territory caused by yesterday’s stormy weather should be restored by late tonight, with a few in the hardest-hit areas being restored on Friday.

The severe weather is moving across our territory, bringing the potential for more power outages
Severe weather continues moving through our service territory and should leave by late tonight. The storms are capable of producingthunderstorms,tornadoes, hail, damaging winds, flash flooding and lightning.

Storms Will Move Eastward Across Our Service Territory Today
Severe weather is beginning to affect the Arkansas portion of our service territory. The line of possible thunderstorms, tornadoes, hail, damaging winds, flash flooding and lightning will move eastward across our territory today. Severe thunderstorms will affect most of Arkansas, Louisiana and east Texas this afternoon, move into Mississippi this evening and into Alabama tonight.

We are preparing to respond to severe weather predicted to strike our service territory tomorrow
After a record-setting hurricane season and historic winter storms, we are preparing now to respond to possible power outages across our territory due to severe weather starting Wednesday. The severe weather could include tornadoes, hail, damaging winds, flash flooding and lightning.
