Hurricane Laura Restoration Update
Laura made landfall at Cameron, Louisiana at 1 a.m. CDT, as a catastrophic Category 4 hurricane, with sustained winds estimated at 145 mph. The storm is forecast to remain a hurricane until it passes Shreveport, Louisiana.

Marco and Laura Update
Current forecasts show Marco passing south of Louisiana on Tuesday as a weakening tropical storm. Laura is predicted to make landfall in southwest Louisiana as a Category 2 hurricane late Wednesday.

Tropical Storms Laura and Marco could affect the Entergy service territory and its customers this week. We encourage you tofinalize your preparationsas these storms approach. Two simultaneous systems in the Gulf of Mexico is a rare occurrence. But because Entergy response personnel stay storm-ready year-round, and we have experience facing back-to-back threats, we are ready to safely and quickly restore service to our customers whose power may be disrupted.

Our restoration workers have made great progress restoring service to customers affected by the recent severe weather. Significant damage in some areas will extend restoration for those customers. We have more than 3,000 restoration workers in the field. As restoration work winds down in one area, crews are reassigned to work in other areas as needed.

Despite flooding and accessibility issues in some of the hardest-hit areas, a storm team of more than 4,000 are making significant progress in restoring power to customers following Hurricane Barry.

We’ve reached a point in recovering from Barry that can be very frustrating for you. The storm has nearly passed from our territory, yet power outages remain as we continue our restoration. We know you want to know when your power will be restored. We understand how difficult it is to wait for power so you can get your lives back to normal. We ask for your patience as we rebuilddamaged infrastructure, including poles, wires, substations and major lines.
While We Are Assessing Damage, We Are Restoring Service Where It Is Safe To Do So.
At 2 p.m., we have 52,100 customers out of service in Louisiana.
