Safety remains first as Entergy Arkansas crews work to restore power
This week, crews have been working around the clock to restore power interruptions caused by multiple rounds of severe weather that began April 2.

Entergy Arkansas crews have responded to three rounds of severe weather since the evening of April 2 and more weather is headed our way.

Entergy Arkansas crews have promptly restored power to many more customer interruptions caused by this week’s cycle of severe weather, including two confirmed EF3 tornadoes.
Entergy Mississippi storm update – 4/3/25, 8 a.m.
As of 8 a.m., approximately 10,300 customers are without power. Customers should be prepared for more outages and flexible restoration times as wind gusts continue throughout Thursday, and severe weather threatens the service area into the weekend.

We have made significant progress in the first 12 hours of our restoration efforts as we have restored power to close to 59% of impacted customers.

Entergy continues to make significant progress and has safely restored more than 63% of our customers bringing current customer outages down to approximately 10,000 from a peak of 27,000.
Entergy Mississippi storm update – 4/3/25, 8 p.m.
As of 8:00 p.m., crews have restored power to more than 88% of customers. Approximately 2,100 customers remain without power, down from approximately 18,300. We’ve identified damages to more than 70 poles, 35 transformers, 75 cross arms, and 12 miles of downed wire.
Entergy Mississippi storm update – 4/2/25, 5:30 p.m.
Sustained high winds are moving through the Entergy Mississippi service territory, resulting in widespread customer outages. These winds are expected to last into the evening. As of 5:30 p.m., approximately 15,000 customers are without power. Our crews including linemen, damage assessors, vegetation workers and support personnel are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

Preparing for the worst while hoping for the best is a constant in our storm readiness plans. The preparation proved to be needed, since the tornado outbreak spawned 18 twisters over two days in the state, according to the National Weather Service.

In response to the recent tornadoes that devastated several counties in Entergy Mississippi’s service area, the company is committing $25,000 to providing critical relief to families and individuals hit by the storms.
