Entergy Arkansas storm update – 5/8/24, 8 p.m.

Entergy Arkansas continues to make significant progress to restore power to more than 21,053 customers impacted by severe weather in the Hot Springs and Little Rock areas. The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in Hot Springs early this morning causing significant damage around the Lake Hamilton and Lake Catherine areas. That storm cell then moved across Southwest Little Rock in the Baseline network causing damage. Currently, approximately 2,300 Entergy customers remain without power.

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 5/8/24, 11 a.m.

Severe weather moved through the state overnight and early morning of May 8 resulting in customer outages.  The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in Hot Springs.  There was significant damage caused by lightning and high winds in Central Arkansas.
