Entergy Mississippi storm update — 8/23/2026, 6 p.m.
Restoration efforts are continuing from Thursday through Sunday morning weather impacts to the territory. In total with the latest round of weather, early morning today, approximately 75,000 outages have occurred during these weather fronts with approximately 95% restored.

Crews continue restortion efforts, even as additional severe weather has impacted Entergy Mississippi's service area. In total, approximately 75,000 outages have occurred and we have restored power for 93% of customers.

Overnight thunderstorms Thursday evening and Friday afternoon brought heavy rains, strong, gusty high winds, and lighting strikes into our service territory resulting in outages and damages to our facilities.
