It’s a given that Entergy employees don’t drink and drive while on the job. Since safety is a 24/7 concern, the Conway office thought it would be a good idea to put on some beer goggles – literally – for an on-the-clock reminder of the hazards of being impaired by alcohol.

Honoring Vets in Their Final Resting Place

Combat veteran Adam Zomant tried to tune out the sound of automatic rifle fire Wednesday morning as it echoed off the hills from nearby Camp Robinson. Now a vegetation operations coordinator based in Searcy, Zomant was one of six Entergy Arkansas vegetation management volunteers placing flags on veterans’ graves in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock Wednesday morning.

Ronald McDonald House Receives Cash for Saving Electricity

Congratulations to the Ronald McDonald House of Little Rock for earning an incentive check of $27,714 from Entergy Arkansas for saving energy. The facility, on Wolfe Street near Arkansas Children’s Hospital, upgraded indoor and outdoor lighting that will save about 164,000 kWh of power annually.
