Harold Chaisson, a crew leader in the Central Business District, recently demonstrated the kind of leadership and initiative that defines our workforce.

While performing a customer-requested outage at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Chaisson and his crew identified that the customer’s cable terminations were in poor condition and needed immediate attention. Recognizing the risk this posed to power reliability, Chaisson took it upon himself to meet with the customer multiple times to explain the issue and provide guidance on corrective actions.

Through his proactive communication and technical expertise, Chaisson built trust with the Convention Center’s facilities team, who sought his continued assistance to ensure the repairs were completed safely and effectively. By collaborating closely with the customer and extending his team’s support beyond the initial scope of work, Chaisson helped prevent future service interruptions and strengthened Entergy’s relationship with one of the city’s most prominent venues.
