Entergy Arkansas is investing in the next generation by awarding six outstanding students $5,000 Community Power Scholarships as they prepare to begin their college careers this fall.

The Community Power Scholarship program recognizes the children of Entergy employees who have demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership, community service and work experience. Scholarships are available for students attending accredited vocational-technical schools, as well as two-year and four-year colleges and universities.

“At Entergy Arkansas, we believe investing in education is one of the best ways to strengthen our communities for the future,” said Laura Landreaux, president and CEO of Entergy Arkansas. “These six students have worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and we are proud to help support them as they pursue their goals. We look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their communities and throughout our state.”

The 2026 Entergy Community Power Scholarship recipients from Arkansas include:

• Ladd Cook, of Mountain View, will major in business at the University of Central Arkansas.

• Ryan Despain, of Manila, is headed to the University of Arkansas and will major in engineering.
• Aliviah Johnson, of Clinton, will attend Arkansas Tech University and study mechanical engineering.
• Lexi Keys, of Plumerville, plans to study nursing at Arkansas State University.
• Sydney Miller, of Sheridan, will attend the University of Arkansas and major in athletic training.
• Natalie Prejean, of Little Rock, is heading to Louisiana State University will study kinesiology.

Supporting students through programs like the Community Power Scholarship aligns with Entergy Arkansas’s Job Power Pillar, the company’s commitment to strengthening the communities it serves by investing in education and helping prepare the next generation of professionals, innovators and community leaders. Through its broader Next Generation Arkansas vision, the company continues to create opportunities that help build a stronger workforce and a brighter future for the state.

The six Arkansas students join 27 other recipients from across Entergy’s four-state service area.

For more than 20 years, Entergy’s Community Power Scholarship program has provided more than $3.8 million in financial assistance to over 770 children of the company’s employees, aiding them in covering their education costs.
