Entergy Arkansas crews continue making strong progress restoring power following severe weather that moved through the state on Sunday, March 15. High winds, an EF-1 tornado and significant downed vegetation caused outages for approximately 22,600 customers at the peak. Thanks to a prepared and rapid response, more than 70% of impacted customers were restored within the first 12 hours.

With the support of more than 230 additional resources brought in from Sunday night through Tuesday, restoration efforts continued at an accelerated pace. By the end of Monday, power had been restored to 92% of affected customers.

Crews are now focused on the remaining outages, which involve more complex repairs, and are working safely and efficiently to restore service to the final 189 customers by the end of today.

We understand how challenging it is to be without power and appreciate your continued patience. Entergy Arkansas remains committed to restoring every customer as quickly and safely as possible.

As we move through the spring severe weather season, we encourage customers to stay prepared and informed:

Just as we encourage our customers to stay prepared and informed during severe weather, Entergy Arkansas prepares year-round for severe weather and will continue strengthening the system through ongoing investments in reliability, vegetation management and infrastructure improvements.
