Entergy Arkansas Winter Storm Update – 2/2/22, Noon
According to the National Weather Service, a winter storm producing precipitation is expected to impact north and central Arkansas this evening with wet snow and ice. Entergy Arkansas has been closely monitoring weather forecasts as this type of precipitation can create problems for an electric system and make for hazardous driving conditions, slowing restoration. We are prepared for severe weather and working to ensure we have the people, crews and resources ready to respond to outages quickly and safely, while practicing social distancing measures needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the additional safety measures our crews must take, restoration may take longer, especially where there are widespread outages. We recommend customers prepare as well.
