Entergy Arkansas Winter Storm Update – 2/18/21 @ 9 a.m.
Thank you for your patience and your voluntary conservation of power. We continue working with reliability coordinator Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) to monitor, in real time, the balance of the power generation supply compared to the extremely high customer demand we are experiencing. Last night, residential, commercial and industrial were all asked to decrease their electrical usage from 5 to 10 p.m., as directed by from MISO, and as a result of your participation, the system was successfully able to avoid mandatory outages.

Entergy Mississippi Winter Storm Update – 2/17/21 @ 8 p.m.
As of 8 p.m. nearly 58,000 customers are without power due to the ongoing ice storm. Most outages are north of a line from Natchez to Brookhaven up to the Jackson metro area and north of Madison and Canton toward Kosciusko.

Entergy Arkansas Winter Storm Update: 2/17/21 11 a.m.
Mandatory rolling outages took place last night about two hours and affected approximately 60,000 customers across the state, who experienced temporary outages ranging between 11 to 45 minutes.

Entergy Arkansas is asking all customers – including residential, commercial and industrial – to decrease their electrical usage from 5 to 10 p.m., due to direction from reliability coordinator Midcontinent Independent System Operator regarding critical power shortages.

Entergy Mississippi Winter Storm Update – 2/17/21 @ 1 p.m.
While restoration continues for customers affected by winter storms earlier this week, another winter weather front is expected to affect Entergy Mississippi’s service area today into the evening. As of noon, approximately 2,200 customers remain without power from storms that moved into the state on Sunday. We expect to restore customers in Covington, Simpson, Smith, Pike and Walthall counties who can safely take power by 10 p.m.
