Natural gas is an essential fuel for customers in Louisiana. In the spirit of Entergy’s commitment to continuous improvement and in order to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of gas, that infrastructure needs to be replaced.

Entergy gas distribution personnel have completed assessing the flooded areas in East Baton Rouge parish. Approximately 22,000 Entergy gas meters were submerged by floodwater. However, floodwaters did not infiltrate the Entergy gas system and gas customer outages were minimal.
