For the seventh consecutive year, the U.S. Department of Labor has awarded Entergy with the HIRE Vets Medallion Award, honoring exceptional achievement in veteran employment. During a virtual award ceremony in October, U.S. Acting Secretary of Labor Julie A. Entergy today announced that Elizabeth Adams has been appointed chief customer officer for the company. She will report to Kimberly Fontan, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and will assume this new role effective immediately.

Meet the pros: Cesar Garcia

Cesar Garcia began his Entergy career in 2006 as a nuclear engineering graduate from Texas A&M. Starting as a reactor engineer at Waterford 3 Nuclear Generating Station in Killona, La., he soon progressed to licensed class where he advanced to senior reactor operator and worked in operations for several years. After a brief stretch with another company, Cesar returned to Entergy in 2018, this time as supervisor in the reactor fuels program at Echelon, Entergy Nuclear’s headquarters in Jackson, Miss.
