nnnnAs the 2021 chair of Entergy Women’s Leadership Advisory Council, I’m excited to share that our work in advancing the company’s diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives has seen great success. The WLAC partnered with our internal Women’s Employee Resource Group to pilot two mentoring programs specifically for female employees because as the world changes, we believe the face of the utility business needs to change as well.

The Louisiana Bar Foundation recently honored Marcus Brown, Entergy executive vice president and general counsel, with the2019 Distinguished Attorney Awardfor his ongoing leadership and commitment to the legal profession. The celebration of the recognition was delayed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic; however, at a recent LBF awards event, the organization celebrated 2019 and 2020 honorees alike. Brown and other Louisiana attorneys, jurists and professors who have distinguished themselves in the legal field were honored.

Deanna Rodriguez has been appointed by Entergy Corporation to lead Entergy New Orleans, LLC, as its president and CEO.
