Airborne saw trims trees, accelerates reliability work in Hinds County
Entergy Mississippi recently used an aerial saw towed by a helicopter to trim trees and help improve reliability along 46 miles of distribution power lines in rural Hinds County.

Significant progress has been made in outage restoration from the overnight thunderstorms. At the peak that occurred at 9:15 p.m. last night, we had 5.514 customers without power. As of 6:00 p.m., approximately 1,085 customers are without power from this event.

Entergy Mississippi Power Your Future Scholarship now accepting applications to support technology students at HBCUs
Entergy Mississippi is proud to announce its Power Your Future Scholarship program is now open for applications until May 7, designed to support current college undergraduates pursuing eligible technology majors who plan to further their education at designated select Historically Black Colleges or Universities or minority-serving institutions within Mississippi. The program will award up to 30 scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $5,000, funded by Entergy shareholders.
