As we put a bow on 2023 and start building 2024, we’re looking at the top stories that shaped Entergy Mississippi’s centennial year. From an Entergy first, to a rate drop, and multiple community contributions – our year was packed with stories of impactful efforts across our 45-county service area.

This year, Entergy’s pro bono team successfully assisted an Afghan refugee family in their pursuit of immigration asylum in the United States. In 2021, the parents and their young child were forced to flee their homeland amid the escalating conflict and insecurity that ensued as U.S. military forces withdrew from Afghanistan and the Taliban retook control of the country.

More than $600K in shareholder contributions support families, communities in first haf of 2023nFor 100 years, Entergy Mississippi has demonstrated a commitment to the families and communities it serves by contributing to nonprofits and supporting their work. In the first half of 2023 alone, Entergy Mississippi has provided more than $600,000 in shareholder contributions to organizations across its service area.
