Months before COVID-19 reached the U.S., Entergy began taking steps to protect and prepare its workforce by activating the company’s pandemic response plan. By the time shutdowns began in March 2020, Entergy’s proactive approach kept employees and facilities safe while the company continued to serve customers. 

Entergy Arkansas is expanding corporate contributions by $1.8 million and implementing a series of measures to assist our customers and communities.

We Power Life is more than just a slogan at Entergy Arkansas, it’s part and parcel of the commitment to keeping the power flowing for the company’s most vulnerable customers through The Power to Care. The program received donations of $581,928 in 2021, which in turn helped more than 1,200 senior citizens and customers with disabilities keep their lights on.

For many of us, the holiday season is a time for festive gatherings with family and friends and a time to reflect on our blessings. However, for our vulnerable low-income elderly and disabled neighbors, the onset of the winter months can bring anxiety and hardships as those on fixed incomes struggle to afford electricity bills. The stress of this situation can lead to health dangers as well as safety issues.
