Preparing for severe weather is a year‑round priority. As part of our continuous focus on readiness, employees from across our four‑state service area recently participated in a system tropical weather exercise designed to strengthen our response to major weather events.
Storm preparations happen year-round — from inspections and vegetation management to training and industry collaboration. We prepare for the worst of what Mother Nature might bring because our customers live in areas prone to some of the most severe weather in the country.
As we look ahead to the winter season, Entergy is prepared and encourages customers to prepare as well. Even if we live or work where extremely cold temperatures are not common, it’s still important to be prepared for freezing and inclement weather.
