Pole Inspections Happening Across Southeast Texas

To keep the power reliably flowing, Entergy Texas works year-round to maintain and upgrade its infrastructure to improve service reliability to customers across Southeast Texas. One way the company works to improve reliability is by annually inspecting its utility poles. This year alone, some 62,000 poles will be inspected across Southeast Texas.

Entergy Texas Launches $300,000 Southeast Texas Relief Fund

As Southeast Texas bands together to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Entergy Texas is committed to supporting our customers and communities during this difficult time through its newly established Southeast Texas Relief Fund. As part of the company’s commitment to supporting Southeast Texas, Entergy Texas, Inc. is donating $300,000 to nine nonprofit groups across 22 counties through Southeast Texas  

Serving Our Seniors this Holiday Season

Entergy Texas employees recently volunteered at the Southeast Texas Food Bank to package food for some of our most vulnerable customers – low-income seniors. Volunteers helped prepare nearly 24,000 pounds of food in a single day for seniors across Southeast Texas. With the holidays just around the corner, volunteers also helped assemble 2,500 bags of holiday trimmings for Thanksgiving.

What was supposed to be a regular meeting about Entergy Texas’ community contributions quickly turned into a surprise of a lifetime for one employee when in walked Missy Herndon, president and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.
