Entergy’s storm crew of nearly 9,000 resources remains on system working to restore the remaining approximately 500 customers that are able to safely receive power, as well as making power available to customers in the most devastated areas. Although thousands of customers in the hard-hit Bayou Region are unable to take power at this time, our crews are continuing to rebuild our facilities, and we will be working with FEMA to make power available to temporary housing for those customers. In Lafourche Parish, in total, approximately 3,700 customers remain out, but the majority are currently unable to safely receive power due to the devastating effects of Hurricane Ida. Crews continue to restore power in the Port Fourchon, Golden Meadow and Galliano areas so that power is available when our customers are ready. In Terrebonne Parish, approximately 500 customers remain without power in total. The majority of those remaining customers are in the southern portion of the parish where a rebuild of our system is required. In the lower portion of Jefferson Parish, there remains approximately 3,000 customers without power, with the majority of those customers in the Grand Isle area. Crews are in the area rebuilding transmission and distribution infrastructure to restore power as safely and quickly as possible. We remain committed to restoration until the last customer has lights.
