Free energy efficiency kits giveaway at Entergy Magic of LightsnSanta’s helpers have been busy at the North Pole, preparing a gift that will bring joy and savings this holiday season. Our volunteers will be giving away Entergy Mississippi’s free energy efficiency kits again this year at the Magic of Lights. The third annual drive-through holiday lights spectacular at the Brandon Amphitheater will be open Nov. 22 through Jan. 5, and Entergy Mississippi customers have the opportunity to purchase a discounted ticket and receive a free energy efficient kit.

nA groundbreaking ceremony for Entergy Mississippi’s newly announced Delta Blues Advanced Power Station was held recently in Greenville, along with recognition of the 50th anniversary of the Gerald Andrus Steam Electric Station. Gerald Andrus will be retired when the new plant comes online in 2028.

Entergy Mississippi Hurricane Francine update – 9/12/24, 1 p.m.
Hurricane Francine, currently a tropical depression, continues moving northeastward from Louisiana through Mississippi. At 7 a.m., we had approximately 10,790 customer outages in the southern portion of our Entergy Mississippi territory. Outages are expected to fluctuate throughout the day as the storm moves through our service area and, therefore, are subject to change based upon the storm’s impact.

Restoration is complete and electrical power has been restored to all customers who can safely receive power. If your power is not restored, please check for damage to the electrical equipment attached to your home or business.
