When customers need help the most, Network Baseline Serviceman Dakota Hill is one of the Entergy Arkansas lineworkers they can count on. On Sunday, Dec. 14 he’ll be recognized for that dedication in an unforgettable way, on the field of the Caesars Superdome as Entergy’s Lineman of the Game during the New Orleans Saints matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

The Lineman of the Game program is a partnership between Entergy and the Saints to honor exemplary lineworkers who embody safety, skill and service. Hill, who has been with Entergy for eight and a half years and a lineman for four, earned the recognition through hard work, humility and the strong relationships he’s built in the field.

Hill began his career as a helper and completed all his training in-house through Entergy, a pathway he says shaped the lineman and person he’s become today.

“The friendships I’ve made along the way and the people I’ve met are what I enjoy most,” Hill said. “Being able to help others out is always rewarding.”

He also takes pride in the responsibility that comes with the job and encourages anyone considering the trade to see it as more than a paycheck.

“It’s not just a job—it’s a career,” Hill shared. “The title will stick with you forever, and you can go anywhere you want to go. It’s definitely rewarding. There will always be a need for power.”

And for those just starting out?

“Have a great attitude and effort. If you have those two things, everything else will work itself out.”

Hill will attend the game with his wife Mallory and take part in the pre-game on-field experience—complete with lights, music and the kind of energy only the Superdome can deliver.

Entergy Arkansas is proud to celebrate Dakota Hill as our Lineman of the Game recognizing the professionalism, teamwork and commitment he brings to serving customers across our state.
