Entergy Arkansas is storm ready year-round, with crews, equipment and emergency plans in place to respond quickly and safely when outages occur. This evening, crews are actively responding to approximately 16,400 outages which is down from a peak of 22,600 caused by today’s severe weather.
Current outages are largely concentrated in Pulaski, Mississippi, Garland and Hot Spring counties. High winds, hail and possible tornadoes associated with today’s storms are keeping crews busy as they work to restore power. Behind the storms, temperatures are expected to drop 30–40 degrees, with some areas experiencing freezing temperatures tonight through noon Monday. Entergy Arkansas encourages customers to remain vigilant and prioritize safety as conditions continue to evolve.

Customer support and safety information
Freezing temperatures and hazardous conditions may impact parts of the state overnight. Customers should watch for downed trees, localized flooding and potentially icy conditions on bridges and elevated roadways.
Road conditions and closures can be found through the Arkansas Department of Transportation road conditions map.
Customers using portable generators should operate them outdoors and as far away from the home as possible to prevent carbon monoxide exposure. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions before operating a generator.
While crews work to restore power as quickly as possible, restoration efforts during severe weather and extreme cold can take longer due to hazardous conditions and increased demand on heating systems. We appreciate our customers’ patience as crews work safely to restore service.
Safety reminders
- Stay away from downed power lines — they can be deadly
- Report downed lines or damaged equipment by calling 1-800-9OUTAGE
- Never attempt to remove debris near power lines
- Keep clear of work areas where crews are restoring service
- Use generators outdoors only and follow all manufacturer safety guidelines
- Check on seniors and vulnerable neighbors
- Avoid travel when possible to reduce accidents and allow crews safe access
