Entergy IT announces three New Orleans students as recipients of its technology college scholarship
New Orleans-area students gain education funding for tech-related studynEntergy’s information technology department announces its second cohort of scholarship recipients of the Entergy Technology Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year. Renee Anderson, Roderick Burke and Roi Dupart, all of the New Orleans metro area, will receive a $4,000 scholarship, funded by Entergy shareholders, toward their college degrees.

Webber selected as 2024 “Women in STEM” honoree
When Kenyon Webber, Entergy senior lead nuclear engineer, moved to the Greater New Orleans area, she wanted to continue her involvement with STEM-related programs and organizations. Webber initially worked with STEM NOLA, but more recently became involved with FIRST Robotics competitions, Girl Scouts of Louisiana, Girls in STEM at Tulane and STEM Goes Red with the American Heart Association. She also a board member with STEM Library Lab and the 1881 Institute.

Louisiana college students can earn $4,000 in technology scholarships for the 2024-25 school year
Entergy’s Information Technology organization has announced the application period has opened for its scholarship program for New Orleans metro area college students. The Entergy Technology Scholarship Program will award up to five current college students a one-time $4,000 scholarship toward their education. The students must currently be enrolled in college and majoring in an eligible technology field.
