Hurricane Beryl: An open letter to our customers

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as our dedicated teams worked tirelessly to restore power to the areas affected by Hurricane Beryl. Our employees know firsthand the hardships for customers caused by power outages, especially during the summer, and I want to personally express my gratitude for your unwavering support as we strived to bring power back to over 252,000 affected customers.

Nearly all customers restored after Hurricane Beryl caused widespread outages across Southeast TexasnThe majority of Entergy Texas customers have been restored after hurricane-force winds and heavy rain from Hurricane Beryl caused widespread outages across Southeast Texas. As of 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, approximately 248,000 of the 252,460 customers impacted have been restored. All customers who can safely take power are expected to be restored before the end of day today.

Crews make progress in hard-hit areas, restoring more than 96% of customers impacted by Hurricane BerylnEntergy Texas restoration crews continue to make progress clearing debris and making repairs in the hardest hit areas following Hurricane Beryl. As of 6 p.m. Monday, approximately 244,700 of the 252,460 customers have been restored, bringing the company’s total restoration percentage to more than 96%.

Para las 11 a.m. del lunes se ha restablecido el servicio a aproximadamente 240,500 de los 252,460 clientes afectados por la tormenta. Los cortes restantes se producen en las zonas de Woodlands, Conroe, New Caney y Cleveland, que fueron las más afectadas por la trayectoria del Huracán Beryl.

The company has successfully restored power to more than 95% of customers impacted by Hurricane BerylnEntergy Texas has successfully restored power to more than 95% of customers impacted by Hurricane Beryl. As of 11 a.m. Monday, approximately 240,500 of the 252,460 customers impacted by the storm have been restored. The remaining outages are in the Woodlands, Conroe, New Caney and Cleveland areas, which were the hardest hit areas due to the path of Hurricane Beryl.

One week after Hurricane Beryl made landfall, our workforce has restored power to approximately 96% of Entergy customers affected by Hurricane Beryl. The majority of customers in the most heavily impacted areas are expected to be restored today.
