Entergy system Hurricane Beryl update – 7/10/24, 12:30 p.m.
We’re completing our assessment of the damage Hurricane Beryl caused to our system. Crews are restoring power as safely and quickly as possible, however, assessment continues in some areas. We are on track to have 50% of customers restored by Wednesday and all customers restored by Sunday.

Impacts from Hurricane Beryl cause more than 200,000 power outagesnHeavy rain, strong winds and lightning from Hurricane Beryl continue to impact the Entergy Texas service area. As of 12 p.m., approximately 201,000 Entergy Texas customers are without power. The majority of the power outages are located in Montgomery, Jefferson, Walker and Liberty counties. More than 6,100 are without power in Galveston County, which includes the entire Bolivar Peninsula.
