Entergy Louisiana Hurricane Delta Restoration Update – 10/14/20 @ 9 a.m.

As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, crews have successfully restored power to over 300,000 customers who lost service following Hurricane Delta, which at its peak caused more than 320,000 outages for Entergy Louisiana customers.

Entergy Mississippi Completes Hurricane Delta Restoration

Entergy Mississippi has restored power to the nearly 52,000 customers affected by Hurricane Delta, which made landfall as a Category 2 storm on Oct. 9 near Creole, Louisiana and began causing power outages in Mississippi on Oct. 10.

As of 9 a.m. Tuesday crews have restored power to nearly 90% of Entergy Louisiana customers affected by Hurricane Delta. Teams across the state have now successfully brought back online 285,000 of the 320,000 customers affected by Delta, which made landfall on Oct. 9.

As of 4:00pm, Entergy Texas has 27,083 customers currently without power, which is down from 108,891 at the peak of the storm.  Entergy Texas has restored power to approximately 82,000 customers.  Currently, Entergy Texas has over 2,000 resources currently engaged in the restoration effort.
