If it weren’t for construction of Remmel and Carpenter dams a century ago, some of the state’s greatest recreation areas may not exist. As Remmel Dam marks its 100th anniversary, community and company leaders gathered at Lake Catherine to celebrate the decades of reliable, clean energy the dam provides.

The agreement represents significant progress toward Entergy’s growing portfolio of renewable energy generation for the benefit of its customers.

The Umbriel Solar facility provides enough clean energy to power more than 30,000 homes.
