Entergy Arkansas has completed work near Blackwell, Arkansas that will improve reliability along Interstate 40 for customers and supports future growth in the area. The improvements totaled $120,000 and 577 man hours.

Entergy Arkansas is proud to announce it has been selected by the Alliance to Save Energy to receive the prestigious Stars of Energy Efficiency Utilities Award in recognition of its Low-Income Solutions program (LIS) which began in 2020 to serve income-qualified customers and those aged 65+. Since then, the program has provided energy-saving and safety upgrades to more than 9,000 customers in Arkansas.
About 6,000 customers remain without power in Little Rock and Monticello areas after severe thunderstorms quickly moved through the state yesterday evening. At the height of the storm, 19,344 customers were without power.

A quick but mighty microcell thunderstorm blew through Little Rock this afternoon, bringing 70-80 mph wind gusts and causing widespread damage in many of the areas of West Little Rock that were previously affected by the March 31 tornado, including areas in the southeast region of the state.
