Entergy Arkansas winter storm update – 1/15/24, 9:30 a.m.

Arctic air with snow and sleet made its way into the state Sunday afternoon. Forecasts call for more precipitation across our service territory and is expected to continue through Monday evening. We understand the challenges that extreme cold temperatures pose for both you and our electrical system. Entergy Arkansas continues to proactively work safely to keep the lights on and to keep you warm. Currently, there are approximately 600 Entergy Arkansas customers without power.

Entergy Arkansas customers encouraged to prep for week ahead

As extreme cold moves into the state this weekend, Entergy Arkansas is working hard to make sure customers can stay warm by preparing equipment and resources for the coming days. Power restoration during extreme cold can take longer due to increased demands on equipment, people and resources. We have crews available and equipped to respond to outages across our service territory. Restoring your power is our top priority as quickly and safely as possible in the event of power outages, and we appreciate your patience.

Entergy Arkansas is prepared for the second round of severe weather

Entergy Arkansas is prepared for the second round of severe weather, and your safety and comfort remain our top priority. We have successfully restored power to approximately 42,000 customers impacted by the first weather event last week. With low temperatures in the single digits and estimates of 4-6 inches of snow expected across parts of the state this week, Entergy Arkansas is working hard to help customers stay warm.

Entergy Arkansas winter storm update – 1/12/24, 7:30 p.m.

Entergy Arkansas has restored more than 35,000 power interruptions as a result of severe weather that impacted the state overnight Thursday and throughout Friday. As of 7:30 p.m., just over 4,000 outages remain. Peak outages reached 18,600 Friday morning around 9:30 a.m. Crews are continuing to work in below freezing temperatures to ensure we provide premier service for our valued customers.
