The company is on track to have 50% of customers restored by Wednesday and all customers restored by SundaynEntergy Texas storm crews have made significant progress assessing damage and restoring power to customers affected by Hurricane Beryl. As of 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, approximately 189,000 customers are without power, which is down from the peak of approximately 252,460 outages Monday afternoon.

The company expects 50% of customers to be restored by the end of day WednesdaynEntergy Texas storm crews worked overnight to restore power to approximately 141,000 customers after heavy rain and strong winds from Hurricane Beryl caused widespread outages across Southeast Texas. As of 11 a.m., approximately 219,000 customers are without power.

The company anticipates that it will take several days to fully restore power to customers impacted by Hurricane BerylnEntergy Texas crews are safely restoring power after heavy rain, strong wind gusts and lightning from Hurricane Beryl caused widespread outages Monday morning. As of 6:30 p.m., approximately 247,000 Entergy Texas customers are without power.

Entergy Texas Hurricane Beryl update – 7/8/24, 12 p.m.

Impacts from Hurricane Beryl cause more than 200,000 power outagesnHeavy rain, strong winds and lightning from Hurricane Beryl continue to impact the Entergy Texas service area. As of 12 p.m., approximately 201,000 Entergy Texas customers are without power. The majority of the power outages are located in Montgomery, Jefferson, Walker and Liberty counties. More than 6,100 are without power in Galveston County, which includes the entire Bolivar Peninsula.

Hurricane Beryl moves through Entergy Texas service area with estimated sustained winds of 65 mph.nHurricane Beryl made landfall near Matagorda, Texas, around 4 a.m. July 8, and continues to move through Southeast Texas with estimated sustained winds of 65 mph. Lightning, high winds and downed trees and other vegetation are the main causes of widespread power outages. As of 10 a.m., approximately 122,000 customers are without power.

Restoration efforts are ready for customers who may be impactednEntergy Texas is monitoring the development of Tropical Storm Beryl, which is expected to land along the Texas Gulf Coast on Monday, July 8, as a Category 1 hurricane. While the path and intensity of Tropical Storm Beryl could change, potential impacts for Southeast Texas include strong winds, storm surge, flooding and tornado threats.
