Crews aim to restore power to most customers before the end of day FridaynCrews are working around the clock to safely restore power after multiple rounds of severe weather caused widespread outages across the Entergy Texas service area this week. As of 5 p.m. Friday., approximately 8,400 remain without power, down from the most recent peak of approximately 22,390 outages Thursday night.

Downed trees from back-to-back thunderstorms are the primary cause of outagesnAnother round of severe thunderstorms moved through the Entergy Texas service area Friday morning, bringing damaging winds, heavy rain and hail. As of 10 a.m., approximately 18,000 customers are without power, down from a peak of approximately 22,390 outages Thursday night.

More than 90% of customers have been restored following severe thunderstormsnCrews have safely restored power to approximately 90% of customers after heavy rain, high winds, lightning, and thunderstorms caused outages to the Entergy Texas service area. As of 4:30 p.m., approximately 5,700 are without power, down from the peak of 85,000 customers Tuesday afternoon.

Crews continue working throughout the night to safely restore power as quickly as possiblenEntergy Texas crews made significant progress restoring power to 84% of the 85,000 customers impacted by severe thunderstorms that moved through the region Tuesday. As of 7 p.m. Wednesday, approximately 13,720 customers are without power.

More than 38,000 customers restored after severe thunderstorms caused widespread outages  nEntergy Texas crews worked throughout the night to safely restore power to more than 38,000 customers impacted by severe thunderstorms that moved through the region Tuesday. As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, approximately 27,000 customers are without power, down from the peak of approximately 85,000 Tuesday afternoon.

A restoration crew of more than 870 people are working around the clock to turn the lights onnSevere weather continues to impact Southeast Texas with increased strength and frequency. Strong winds, heavy rain, and hail moved through the Entergy Texas service area Tuesday, causing a peak of approximately 85,000 customer outages. As of 7 p.m., approximately 65,000 customers are without power.

All customers who can safely receive power are expected to be restored by the end of the daynEntergy Texas crews continue to make progress restoring power after tornadoes, heavy rain, and strong winds caused widespread outages across the region Thursday. As of 9:30 a.m., approximately 4,500 customers are without power, down from a peak of 44,500 customers at 8 p.m. Thursday night.

As of 5:30 p.m., approximately 6,200 customers are without power, down from the peak of approximately 44,500 customers without power at 8 p.m. Thursday.

As of 9:30 a.m., approximately 14,800 customers are without power, down from the peak of approximately 44,500 at 8 p.m. on Thursday.

Nearly all customers restored after severe weather caused widespread outages Thursday and FridaynThe majority of Entergy Texas customers have been restored after severe thunderstorms, hail, lightning and strong winds caused widespread outages across the Entergy Texas service area Thursday and Friday. As of 6:30 p.m. Saturday, approximately 373 outages remain, which is a significant decrease from the peak of approximately 37,600 outages Thursday morning.
