Entergy Texas plans reliability upgrades for Conroe
Required outages are scheduled to begin October 30
CONROE, Texas – Entergy Texas crews are scheduled to perform reliability upgrades in the Conroe area, beginning Monday, October 30th, through November 5th. The work will take place along Longmire Road and Hwy 105 from I-45 to Dam Site Road.
Each night, the scheduled outage will start at 8 p.m. and could last up to eight hours for crews to safely complete all upgrades to the power lines. This outage will occur in stages, so individual customers will only be impacted once during this time. These upgrades will improve reliability and provide additional capacity to support growth in the community. Customers who will be impacted have been notified about the upcoming service interruption.
“We’re pleased to safely complete upgrades to power lines in the Conroe area” said Latisha Thomas, Entergy Texas Customer Service Manager. “The upgrades will increase the amount of power flowing, which will help minimize outages and allow us to serve more customers.“
Entergy Texas cares about each customer and understands the critical role reliable electricity plays in their everyday routine, which is why we are continuously making upgrades to our infrastructure to improve service and reduce the length of outages when they occur.
