Entergy Arkansas’ The Power to Care Golf Classic secures more than $250,000 for vulnerable customers

Entergy Arkansas' 20th annual The Power to Care Charity Golf Classic recently raised more than $126,000 to help older and disabled customers pay their electric bills.nThese funds will be matched one-to-one by Entergy shareholders to total more than a quarter million dollars in assistance available to customers in Arkansas this winter.

Entergy Arkansas and Adopt a Charger boost eco-friendly EV charging

Little Rock, Ark. – Entergy Arkansas and Adopt a Charger are promoting Electric Vehicle (EV) Tourism and enabling zero emission travel at its first two Arkansas State Park locations. Six charging stations were installed at Mount Nebo State Park near Dardanelle, and four charging stations were installed at the DeGray Lake Resort State Park at the Lodge and Conference Center near Hot Springs in August 2024. Adopt a Charger, a nonprofit organization, funded the projects with support from a $80,000 grant from Entergy’s Environmental Initiatives Fund (EIF).

Entergy Arkansas and Invenergy announce start of commercial operations at Walnut Bend Solar

Adding to its growing fleet of utility-scale solar generating facilities, Entergy Arkansas has announced the start of commercial operations at Walnut Bend Solar Energy Center. The 100-megawatt solar energy center is located in Lee County to the east of Brinkley, Arkansas.

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 8/20/24, 5 p.m.

Power has been restored to nearly all Entergy Arkansas customers impacted by this week’s storms. Multiple fronts caused widespread outages across the state. Since the peak outage count of 39,370 during the evening of Aug. 18, Entergy Arkansas has successfully restored power to 99% of customers impacted.

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 8/20/24, 11 a.m.

Entergy Arkansas has successfully restored power to 93% of customers impacted by multiple storm fronts on Sunday. Crews have worked diligently to safely restore approximately 39,370 power interruptions since the peak of storm fronts moved through the state on Aug. 18. Currently there are approximately 3,042 remaining customer outages.
