Entergy Arkansas Bright Futures: Focusing our philanthropic work on food insecurity

During the month of June, Entergy Arkansas is focusing our philanthropic efforts on food insecurity. One in five Arkansans faces hunger – and that number becomes one in four for children. Both statistics make the state the highest for food insecurity in the country. 

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 5/25/24, 8 p.m.

Crews are working around the clock to safely restore power after multiple rounds of severe weather caused outages. We’ve restored a total of 57,000 customers since the event(s), started about 3 p.m. on Friday. Currently, 4,579 customers remain without power.

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 5/9/24, 6 p.m.

Since the night of May 8, through the evening of May 9, Entergy Arkansas has restored approximately 43,000 customer outages resulting from multiple storm fronts that moved through the state. Currently there are approximately 1,430 remaining customer outages.

Entergy Arkansas storm update – 5/8/24, 8 p.m.

Entergy Arkansas continues to make significant progress to restore power to more than 21,053 customers impacted by severe weather in the Hot Springs and Little Rock areas. The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in Hot Springs early this morning causing significant damage around the Lake Hamilton and Lake Catherine areas. That storm cell then moved across Southwest Little Rock in the Baseline network causing damage. Currently, approximately 2,300 Entergy customers remain without power.
