Entergy Arkansas continues to make significant progress to restore power to more than 21,053 customers impacted by severe weather in the Hot Springs and Little Rock areas. The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in Hot Springs early this morning causing significant damage around the Lake Hamilton and Lake Catherine areas. That storm cell then moved across Southwest Little Rock in the Baseline network causing damage. Currently, approximately 2,300 Entergy customers remain without power.

Reflecting on the one-year anniversary of the March 31 tornadonMarch 31, 2023, is a date that will forever be marked in Arkansas severe weather history. On this date, the Little Rock, Jacksonville and Wynne areas were ravaged by deadly tornadoes that left a path of destruction in its wake and required complete rebuilding of people’s lives and the community.

The National Weather Service has designated the week of February 25 - March 2 as Arkansas' Severe Weather Awareness Week. Entergy Arkansas hopes this annual event will increase public awareness about the dangers of severe weather and encourage people to take steps to protect themselves and their property.
