Entergy Tribal Scholarship empowers American Indian students through higher education

For the ninth consecutive year, our collaboration with the AICF has been instrumental in empowering Native American students, enabling them to pursue rewarding career paths and emerge as influential leaders within their communities.

Golfers tee up $128K in emergency bill help funding for customers

A full field of 35 foursomes hit the links on April 22 to help provide emergency bill help for Entergy Mississippi’s most vulnerable customers. With a few donations arriving just before tee time, the four-man scramble raised $128,000, setting a high bar for Entergy Mississippi’s inaugural The Power to Care golf tournament and surpassing fundraising records for similar tournaments held in other states where Entergy operates.

Entergy IT announces three New Orleans students as recipients of its technology college scholarship

New Orleans-area students gain education funding for tech-related studynEntergy’s information technology department announces its second cohort of scholarship recipients of the Entergy Technology Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year. Renee Anderson, Roderick Burke and Roi Dupart, all of the New Orleans metro area, will receive a $4,000 scholarship, funded by Entergy shareholders, toward their college degrees.

Electric vehicle charging now available at Hinds Community College

First community college campus in Mississippi with EV charging stationsnJACKSON, Miss. – Hinds Community College is leading the state as the first community college campus with an electric vehicle charging station. Six chargers were installed on the Raymond campus in February, as the first site of Adopt a Charger’s Charge Up! Mississippi initiative. The program is supported by a $160,000 grant from Entergy’s Environmental Initiatives Fund.

Running for The Power to Care

Amid starting a new job, moving from Texas to Louisiana and juggling the ever-changing challenges that presented themselves due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there remained one point of consistent focus for Thomas Green in 2022: the next race. In just one year, Green completed the Houston Marathon in January, IRONMAN Texas in April, the Montreal Marathon in September and IRONMAN Florida in November.
