In preparation for emergencies, electric companies have mutual assistance agreements with other companies that allow them to increase their workforce by “borrowing” restoration workers to help respond to areas impacted by a major outage event.

At 4:00 pm just over 6,000 Entergy Texas customers were without power of the 192,000 affected by the storm. Many customers have seen multiple outages that we have restored.  Our workers continue to safely restore power as quickly as possible.
