As floodwaters recede, Entergy Texas, Inc. will be able to access transmission lines and substations that were once under water. This will allow crews to assess the damage to the system and what it will take to restore power to thousands of customers.

Now that Harvey has moved northeast and its feeder bands are no longer affecting the Gulf Coast, several members of Entergy New Orleans’ Central Business District crew are heading to Texas to help restore Beaumont’s downtown network.

Entergy has restored more than 200,000 outages caused by multiple landfalls Harvey made since its arrival one week ago. The storm has now caused outages in all of our service territories with its sweep through Arkansas and Mississippi over the last 24 hours.
