Entergy Hurricane Francine update – 9/10/24, 5 p.m.

We are preparing for impacts across our service area from Hurricane Francine. According to the National Hurricane Center’s latest forecast, Francine may strengthen significantly before it reaches the coast. Francine is currently expected to make landfall on the Louisiana coast near Vermilion Bay Wednesday. We are prepared and we want you to be prepared, too.  

Entergy Tropical Storm Francine update – 9/10/24, 8:30 a.m.

We are preparing for impacts across our service area from Tropical Storm Francine. According to the National Hurricane Center’s latest forecast, Francine will likely become a hurricane today, with significant strengthening expected before it reaches the coast. Francine is currently expected to make landfall on the Louisiana coast near Vermilion Bay Wednesday as a Category 2 hurricane. We are prepared and we want you to be prepared, too.

Entergy Hurricane Bob update – 8/29/24, 2 p.m.

We’re completing our assessment of the damage Hurricane Beryl caused to our system. Crews are restoring power as safely and quickly as possible, however, assessment continues in some areas. The company is on track to have 50% of customers restored by Wednesday and all customers restored by Sunday.
