After working into the night and this morning, Entergy New Orleans and Entergy Louisiana crews and contractors have restored power to approximately 85% of customers (40,200) in the hard-hit parishes of Jefferson, Orleans and St. Bernard – down from a peak of approximately 47,000.
As of 9:30 p.m. crews have successfully restored more than 29,000 customers – down from a peak of approximately 47,000 customers in Southeast Louisiana impacted by today’s severe weather. Entergy New Orleans and Entergy Louisiana crews continue to assess damages in some of the most heavily impacted areas and restore power to customers where it is safe to do so.
