Receiving customer and community input is important when it comes to operating a complex business like Entergy New Orleans. It requires industry knowledge, skill, and perhaps equally important, unvarnished advice from other experienced New Orleans business and community leaders.

Entergy New Orleans Hurricane Ida Update – 9/9/21 @ 5:30 p.m.

Entergy New Orleans has restored power to 98% of customers. We anticipate the remaining 4,000 customers who remain without power to have it restored by late evening Sept. 10 if they are able to receive it. Occasionally we’ll restore power to an area only to find another issue that means we have to take power down again and complete additional repairs. Or we’ll do initial work to get you on and the come back to put a more permanent fix in.

Due to the magnitude of the damages caused by this storm affecting connectivity and other issues associated with it, we are experiencing technical difficulties that may lead to delays in power status available through our outage reporting tools. As we work to restore our systems, we ask that if you are aware of an inconsistency between the reported status and power availability at a location, please notify us by typing OUT to 36778 or go to MyEntergy or Mobile App and report your outage or dial 1-800-9OUTAGE or report your outage to the automated system or speak to a representative. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.

Entergy New Orleans Hurricane Ida Update – 9/7/21 @ 6 p.m.

As of 6 p.m., we have restored nearly 155,000 customers. We anticipate the vast majority of customers in New Orleans Parish who can safely accept power will be restored by late evening Sept. 8. Customers in the hardest hit areas along Chef Menteur Highway east of Chef Pass are estimated to be restored by Sept. 29 if they are able to receive power.
