Entergy Employees Give Back in New Ways

Providing a helping hand to the community is an act of kindness Entergy employees take part in year-round, even in times of crisis. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person volunteering with our community partners has been put on hold due to physical distancing orders to prevent the spread of the virus. But rising to the challenge, Entergy employees found safe and innovative ways to continue the company’s commitment to creating and sustaining healthy, educated, thriving and vibrant communities.

UPDATE – Entergy New Orleans Extends Suspension of Disconnects for Nonpayment

Entergy New Orleans has extended the suspension of customer disconnections for non-payment.  While the Company’s initial suspension does not expire until April 15, 2020, it has become clear that because of both the direct and indirect impacts of COVID-19, it is necessary to extend the temporary suspension of customer disconnects for nonpayment until May 15, 2020. The Company will continue to monitor the situation and will extend if necessary.
