We know your neighborhood has recently had frequent power outages. We are sorry. You deserve better and we’re going to do better.

We are addressing these outage issues on multiple fronts, with an immediate plan and a longer-term plan. Both are underway and will lead to improved electric reliability for your neighborhood.

Immediate underground equipment replacement

We started working on equipment upgrades in your neighborhood last week, with much more planned. As of night, we are adding even more crews to this effort, with teams from our sister operating companies in Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi heading our way. They’ll be in your neighborhood to help starting this evening. You’ll see lots of Entergy crews in the area, so we appreciate your patience as we work as quickly and safely as possible to make these equipment upgrades.

Further neighborhood underground electric system upgrades

In the North Kenilworth area, we have completed inspections on 80 underground transformers and are currently making repairs. We expect to finish in about two weeks.

In addition, we have a major effort underway that will strengthen the underground system in your area. Construction is underway and we will continue to provide updates.

We appreciate your patience as we complete these upgrades to make your electric service more reliable. We are grateful to be your electricity provider, and we are committed to delivering the affordable, reliable power you deserve.
