Entergy is commemorating the 25th anniversary of its Environmental Initiatives Fund, marking a milestone in a long history of environmental commitment that began well before sustainability became a corporate trend.

Entergy Louisiana and Entergy New Orleans are closely monitoring Tropical Storm Isaias in the Gulf and are preparing for severe weather that could impact our service territory within the next several days. Should the storm impact our service areas, Entergy crews are ready to respond quickly and safely once conditions allow.

Entergy New Orleans recently hosted a series of community town hall meetings throughout the city, giving residents an opportunity to hear directly from our subject matter experts about electric reliability, economic development initiatives, and infrastructure projects underway in their neighborhoods.

For the 19th consecutive year, Site Selection magazine has named Entergy a Top Utility in economic development. The communities we serve in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas continue to attract some of the nation’s most competitive and power‑intensive industries. In 2025, Entergy helped secure more than $83 million in capital investments and create approximately 7,560 new direct jobs. New and expanding facilities span advanced manufacturing, clean energy production and large‑scale industrial development, further strengthening the Gulf South region’s position as a premier location for business growth.

LSU New Orleans students preparing for careers in engineering and the energy industry will gain access to enhanced technology, research opportunities and hands-on learning through a combined $1.5 million investment from Entergy and Ampirical to modernize the university’s Power and Energy Research Laboratory.
