Entergy recently participated in the 2026 Washington Mardi Gras, a multi-day event hosted by the Mystic Krewe of Louisianians. Often described as a “party with a purpose,” Washington Mardi Gras brings together elected officials, business leaders, and advocates from across the nation. Held at the Washington Hilton, also known as Louisiana’s unofficial “65th parish”, the event is designed to strengthen relationships, advance policy discussions, and promote economic growth for the state.
This year’s theme, Liberty & Lagniappe: Celebrating 250 Years of America, highlighted Louisiana’s enduring role in shaping America’s cultural and economic landscape. Chaired by House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, the celebration featured a royal court that reflected Louisiana’s commitment to innovation, environmental stewardship, and leadership in the energy sector.
